Need a band? Big Lake cabin owner Adam Fesenmaier, is a founding member of The Loose Rails, The Conquerors, The Floorshakers, and the Panel of Experts.

Adam and his wife have a cabin on the Big Lake. Janella is the niece of Mark and Karen Marjala, long time cabin owners on the Big Lake.

Maria Bamford, daughter of Joel and Marilynn Bamford, Little Lake Pequaywan, is a talented comedian who recently performed in Duluth at a benefit for Safe Harbor, a women's shelter. Maria has appeared on the Comedy Channel, Garrison Keilor's Prairie Home Companion, and in several films, as well as at many comedy clubs. She's been named one of Variety's "Top 10 Comics to Watch."

Big Lake resident Jason Smitke listens to a lot of music. His JA Entertainment Company features "mobile DJ entertainment." Designer to the Stars

DeBora Rachelle, daughter of Noreen and Jerry Maki who live on the Little Lake, is a talented and successful dress designer. Her prom and special occasion gowns have been featured in numerous magazines and worn by Hollywood stars. DeBora grew up on Lake Pequaywan and now works and lives in Duluth. There are about 200 residents on Big and Little Lake Pequaywan and the number is pretty evenly split between the two lakes.

Under a third are year-round residents.

Most seasonal cabin owners are from either Duluth and surrounding areas - 67.

About 43 are from the Twin Cities metro area.
